It is incredible to have so many creatives come together to produce something that is truly art. Creativity that inspires others is what this industry is all about inspiring and showing off Art. I’ve soon realized the more I hold back posting content I’ve helped make, it deprives others from getting inspired to create themselves. So let’s keep building up every person up around us, which in result impacts the World each day.
When @spencerdavisphoto called me to help out on this project I immediately said, “Let’s run it what’s the details?” Such a blessing & honor being apart of this project to help and aid these talented creatives to get these final EPIC shots. Each day we take for granted how important every person is in our lives much less how irreplaceable every person was on this set to create something truly special. It couldn’t have happened without each one of these people below.

Growth and comfort cannot coexist…. I’ve been trying my hardest to stay on top of my relationship with Christ, clients work, friends, family, & everything else at once. It’s hard but hey it’s more than possible if I stay focused. This project is one of my favorites that I did with @nolanfstandifer & @rileyd253 I was harnessed up and hung out the back of a Macan to get the shots of Riley absolutely sending it on the track! It was truly jaw dropping to say the least trusting Riley driving his Porsche GT3 Cup car within 12inches of my camera and I at times… but that’s why he’s the LEGEND! I’m going to try to start posting old & new work coming up. This year, ITS TIME TO LEVEL UP 🫡

COTA & BMW came to Kolton for this amazing project. Kolton called me and said we have 16hrs to come up with this story, crew, equipment, lighting design, and overall Shot listing. Of course I said “LET’S SEND IT”

In the journey of being a creative, there are chapters that have “prove it” moments. Moments where you have an outlandish idea, and your mind fills with doubt about your ability to execute it… but you do it anyways. You lean on the hours you’ve invested into learning and perfecting your craft.
This commercial concept from the director (Connor Bates) was to feature a classic Ford muscle car facing a sandstorm in the backroads of Texas. Symbolic of American muscle cars preserving their value and character over their many years.
It would prove to be a doozy of a vision with the complexities of filming on narrow, unpredictable dirt roads, along with the fact that the sandstorm elements would have to be generated with CGI in post.
NOTE: no AI was used in this commercial. Every shot of the car is proprietary and original (not stock footage).
We put our all into this project. Weeks of pre production, a fast paced 1-day shoot, and weeks of laborious editing.
Bear in mind, this is a Ford spec ad (no formal endorsement or involvement from Ford), so the team’s effort was based on pure passion to creative something awesome. And I’m proud to say I think we did just that.
