Union is a pair of objects that remain on the table after the meal — a fruit bowl, a candleholder, and a vase.

For @breadandbutter.world , We explored these three as a perfect pair that holds not only the moment of dining, but also the atmosphere before and after.

Imagining an invisible circular grid on the table, we designed a system in which each object naturally takes on its own role and form. Four circle come together to hold fruit, nine support candles, and many more cradle wildflowers. Meaning emerges from the relationship between elements.

This fragile pattern evoked memories of lace tissue covers at our grandmothers’ homes.
