Design and artistic practise is not only an approach to create something aesthetic or beautiful, but in many ways a method to reorganised the frame of the expected.
This is crucial for a collective and a culture because it challenges what we know and what we believe.
As creative I often think about the value of my practise. I think: why is this even important?
Art can be seen as one of the driving forces of cultural development. (If it is free from constraints/authorities - which is sadly not often the case any more - but this is another topic)
Therefore I just want to encourage creative practises to keep going. There is value in your work beyond pure aesthetic.
In my practise I am interested in visualising these values. This is only my personal perspective and here I show a selection of photographs from the last months.

Bloom festival @bloom.festival is around the corner - looking forward to visit again.
Last year I was fascinated by the works of Stine Deja @stine_deja (Last Survivors) and Wang and Söderström @wangsoderstrom (Sense Machine)
I think the rain projected an extra layer of experience to the works.

Last year I spend two days together with @markebert_both in his atelier and his summer house in north Jutland.
The main reason was to film his process and have a conversation about his work.
It was nice to follow him doing his work. Here are some of the photographs and short clips from this trip.

I enjoy this sculpture a lot because it expresses in a very accurate way what many of us can experience in the everyday.
A view that is directed forward - toward the goal, the dream or whatever it is that lies ahead. Yet so often are thoughts in the back of our head - pulling us away from this directing or showing something else.
Whether these voices are helpful or distracting is often not easy to read. Should you listen to, embrace or simply ignore them?
Always something to learn from art in public spaces.

In 2021 I documented an art collection and designed several pamphlets as a result. This was created to give the collector an overview and the possibility to show his collection to his collaborators.
It is nice to revisit these images and it shows many things that I learned since. I am super happy for all the support and collaborations that emerged over the years.

I visited @maps_museum in February again. Last time I could not see everything because there is so much to discover. I love how the exhibtion design by @formafantasma – especially the hidden parts and interactive quality – helps to submerge into the topic of art in public spaces.
On my way back to Copenhagen I passed @arkenmuseum to see @jeppehein lights in the snow.
