Soaking up the bank holiday sun 😎
Our NYDCS Foundations (Inverclyde) group took part in a creation day on Monday at the scenic Beacon Arts Centre.
The day included:
🪩 A fun jumpstyle workshop to warm up and try something new
⭐️ Rehearsing and cleaning their piece after time apart
🌞 Making the most of the sunshine and stunning views
Next time the group meets, they’ll begin the performance element of the project!!

We’re super excited to be taking part and performing🙌🏼
We’re thrilled to be welcoming Joan Clevillé, Artistic Director of @scottishdancetheatre, to NYDCS this June ✨
Joining us for our intensive weekend (13–14 June) at @citymovesdance, Joan will lead a dynamic choreographic workshop, giving dancers the chance to work closely with one of Scotland’s leading artists.
Alongside this, the company will be diving into rehearsals for Afterglow, taking class with NYDCS Foundations Aberdeen, and working with our Head of Programmes Gillian, building momentum ahead of summer touring.
This final weekend is all about pushing creativity, strengthening connections, and making space to learn from each other 💛
