First time directing a ‘higher budget’ videoshoot. Although generally a simple concept, I’ve lost a lot of brain cells during this whole brainstorming process, sleepless nights and non-stop telling myself “this is not a stage performance this is a video production!” in these 2 months 😅 It has been a while since Estilettes did something together properly. Always wanted to do a long dress + glam with a touch of cheekiness item with the girls, so here we go!

A lot of thanks to Jiaxuan for helping me to convey+improve on the costume ideas and come up with possible designs, Lining for transporting the stools and rides to mrt when pracs ended late, and Poca mama for sharing your thoughts on my direction of the video throughout the process;

To Rayzuko the magician who made the video look so beautiful!! My production assistants Ben, Clemence and Shanice for being very on-the-ball and helpful throughout the shoot, @kiulaikiu who agreed without hesitation to helped me sew something difficult for my costume and finished in 2h, and all the friends who helped me give feedbacks on the video drafts.
