This is my new Chromag Lowdown ⚡️ @chromagbikes

I’ve already said it a million times, but this is hands down the best bike I’ve ever owned… and I knew it from the very first ride. So capable, playful, insanely fast, quiet, beautiful looking… all of it.

I run the bike in a Medium because I’ve been loving smaller bikes more and more every year, paired with a mullet setup with 170 travell!
This season I’m also going back to an air shock to try something different again.

Cockpit-wise, I cut my bars down to 760mm with the FU40 bars from Chromag Bikes.
For cranks and chainring, I’m running the absolute best fromNS Billet — 165mm.
Dagga pedals… still the best pedals ever made.
All the bolts are titanium bolts design locally by @thetibolt so epic!

And for the first time in years, I’m running no tire inserts… and holy cow.
I seriously don’t know what I was doing all these years without proper tire grip 😂

I rode almost 600km across South Korea in one continuous push, solo and self-supported from Seoul to Busan.

No support crew, no follow car and no one waiting at the finish.

What started as an FKT-style attempt slowly became something much more personal. I think that’s why I keep coming back to these kinds of projects. When you do something alone, there’s nowhere to hide. Every decision is yours, every mistake is yours, every moment of doubt is yours to figure out. There’s something awfully honestwithin that.

But honestly, the one we’re most stoked about is a “quiet” release: our new wide washer caliper bolt. It solves a few headaches most people don’t even realize they have until they see the difference.

The wider integrated washer isn’t just for looks, it’s about better load distribution, protecting your brake caliper tabs surface, and keeping everything perfectly aligned and stable under braking.

Most riders probably never think twice about their mounting hardware. But if you’re as obsessive about the details as we are, this is one of those small upgrades that just feels right once it’s on the bike.

Cold and rain again on the North Shore today, but last weekend felt like riding season isn’t that far away 🌲
