I am learning more things about you, what you find beautiful. Things you find funny. And things you like to do in spirit.
I see you most often “working” in light. I saw you the other day participating in a spotlight beam.
And to know about how you never left me also outlines the truth of what it is to be physical. The limitations and the commitment to this physical world.
I walk around constantly with nothing to say and everything to say.
You are my initiator and creator.
and that- I have learned is actively eternal.
The depths of myself are with you and yet I call out for you every second of everyday.
What a paradox.
The paradox of being physical.
The eternal crucible.

Father Mary believes the apple in the Garden of Eden contained images.

He believes images are what have landed humanity in its current mess.

He believes images must be destroyed.

I shot and styled @ruby.mccollister for “Tragedy Oil” by @marissazappas. This fragrance is based on Ruby’s autobiographical show about her relationship to “tragic actresses and ghosts” and growing up in Los Angeles. It has notes of tuberose, orange flower, fir balsam, sandalwood and oakmoss.
