Abu Naima brings the warmth of the Lebanese golden age into today’s club culture. Qamareen blends pop, indie, and electronic beats with a deep love forartists from the region.

Nsheem creates soundscapes where raw emotion and intricate beats collide. Blending alternative hip-hop, soul and experimental elements with lyrics that explore themes of diaspora-identity, internal struggle and authenticity. Being so far away from all the shells flying and the bombs dropping doesn’t allow for any of us to sit at home and be fully at ease - aslong as the Apartheid Regime of a Colonial State is executing fathers, mothers and children, we are never free to feel at ease.

That is the exact reason why we need to stand up - stand together - stand tall! - while we do our best to help to whatever extent we can!

We’re hosting the Charity of Jazz Against Apartheid here in Vienna because that’s what we CAN do!

Collect donations, help families, bring the people together and create music.

All proceeds go to independent humanitarian orgs supporting people displaced & affected by ongoing conflicts (genocide, occupation, dictatorship…) in the region.

Lebanon@egnalegna an org that prepares hot meals & distribute to displaced people in need, focusing on Migrants who have no access to shelters or emergency program funds.

Palestine - @grassroots_gaza a mutual aid initiative, working with Palestinian families in Gaza & Egypt, sustain essential needs including shelter, food, medicine, clean water & financial aid.

Iran - We are still looking for a trustworthy and independent grassroots organization to which we can donate and are therefore in exchange with Iranian friends. (NOTE: due to the high levels of repression and political persecution of civil society by the Iranian government inside and outside Iran, in order to ensure their safety and the continuity of their work, we might not be able to publicly share the name of the organization/individuals we choose to work with.)
