Pulled out a short sax section and added chord symbols + analysis to show what’s really happening harmonically.

A lot of this sound comes from rootless voicings and inner movement—things we think about on piano that translate directly into orchestration and section writing!!

This piano felt particularly buttery 🧈😴 … when I get to a new venue, I like to warm up with a ballad, often in an unconventional key. I find that doing so engages and calms my mind 😶‍🌫️
