So happy to share the news of NEUROLIVE’s fourth and final commission that I am performing in this year!

𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙣
A new performance from Matthias Sperling in collaboration with Temitope Ajose, Ben Ash, Iris Yi Po Chan and Katye Coe

📢 Bookings are open and tickets are selling fast! Come and take part in our research on the experience of liveness, with EEG or without EEG measurements 🧠

Dance, science, and science fiction come together in this fourth and final performance commission of the NEUROLIVE research project.

While the performers approach dancing as a process of ‘taking a reading’, intuitively interpreting their moment-to-moment embodied experience, this year, the NEUROLIVE team also stages an AI system that augments this process. The AI is conceived as a system that reads multiple live data streams from the performers, the audience and the room to generate spoken interpretations of the emergent dance, like an interpretive oracle.

Opening this week! I’m performing in four durational performances at Dilston Gallery as part of Florence Peake’s new exhibition ‘FACTUAL ACTUAL: Ensemble’ at Southwark Park Galleries. Our first performance is this Saturday 15 April 12-4pm, and then on 29 April, 27 May, and 10 June. No booking required, just turn up!

Join us to celebrate the launch of Florence Peake's new exhibition 'FACTUAL ACTUAL: Ensemble'.

Galleries open Saturday 15th April 12-5pm, 'FACTUAL ACTUAL' durational performance at Dilston Gallery 12-4pm, drinks reception 3-5pm.

Peake's new interdisciplinary exhibition presents a monumental painting installation using her distinctive gestural, movement-marking techniques and a series of durational performances.

Our exhibition launches are free and open to everyone, with no booking required.
