(UN)SHAME makes space for what we prefer to keep in the dark. Feelings that are too raw. Bodies that diverge from the familiar. Truths too heavy for polite conversation. Here, shame is named, unmasked and kindly asked to step aside.

Four artists unravel the layers of shame as an open-ended process. What is usually left unspoken, uncomfortable, or unseen becomes visible.
Unfiltered and intimate. Vulnerable and defiant.

(UN)SHAME maakt ruimte voor wat we liever in de donkerte laten. Gevoelens die te rauw zijn. Lichamen die afwijken van het vertrouwde. Waarheden die te zwaar wegen voor een beleefd gesprek.

Hier wordt schaamte benoemd, ontmaskerd en vriendelijk gevraagd haar plaats af te staan.

Vier kunstenaars onderzoeken wat we gewoonlijk in de duisternis bewaren. Ze ontleden de complexe lagen van schaamte, als een proces met open einde. Ongefilterd en intiem, kwetsbaar en uitdagend.

Met een zelfgemaakte camera obscura en polaroidcamera vangt Lamon vormen die teder, uitdagend en diep menselijk zijn. Via intieme portretten van honderd vulva’s toont ze de diversiteit, kwetsbaarheid en kracht van lichamen die vaak door taboe worden omgeven.
