Aaaand much more importantly, for anyone feeling overwhelmed by the barrage of terrible things coming out of the white house, I've got a very easy action you can take right now! It hasn't gotten that much coverage amidst everything else, but tons of trans people are having their passports withheld indefinitely by the US government at the moment. This isn't just a matter of not being able to have the correct gender marker on the documents, but just of having the passport held with no info regarding when or how they can get it back. I personally know multiple people who are in this predicament, and you probably do too! This is super scary for them right now, and for everyone going forward, as this is a terrible precedent to be set. I just called and emailed Chuck and Kirsten asking them to speak out about this and to do anything in their power to help. I found it super easy because I've been in the habit of contacting them regarding Gaza, so let's keep up with being in touch with our reps, it's one of the ways that a democracy works! 💚

And thirdly, I'm very stoked to be playing with Zoe Pete Ford, who doesn't have an instagram but is an incredible songwriter/rockstar, at Jones Bar TONIGHT. The legendary @illangel_illangel starts things off around 8pm and we play after, no cover, just excellent vibes. Thank you for reading all the way to the bottom! 🍑
