Hand in hand with Nature
It’s a wrap of another week at Soledad working in tune with Nature and beautiful people to bring yall the best of our small Forest Terroir .
All we do is based on those threebasic values :
Protect the biodiversity of our ecosystem
Be fair and good to the people that work so hard to maintain & harvest this precious beans
Substance based (not flavor based ) producers
If we succeed at it and help inspire others , well
I feel I’ve accomplished a lot
Inertia !
Always with love and intention 💚
Stay Fresh …..
It’s all about love & community

Harvesting much fewer beans than last year but putting in the same passion and care . We’ve already done a few beautiful washed coffees and some anaerobics XT , now onto a few naturals and soon TyOxy too….
Will surely try to honor existing partnerships but this year we’re in an all time low yield year for sure ,
I hope yall can understand.
Nature has its natural cycles 🔄 🌱
Happy Sunday ☀️ 🌱
Wanted to make a short video thanking my Comandante family for the present of the newest member the C30
It’s the perfect grinder for me as I lack hand strength and this one is thinner , but also super sturdy !
I got it in WOC San Diego from @joemctagg @jmelicker @radeknozicka and Raphael @raphael.braune
As I always say each comandante grinder has a special energy and a recipient that will unlock it & enjoy it for life .
This grinders have soul , and it’s Bernd @berndbraune craftsmanship who makes them come to life for us .
I brewed a beautiful TyOxy from @leaves_coffee_roasters @yasuoishii @mihohariu using as always @sibaristcoffee filters for the special occasion.
Much love to all from Soledad always with you .
Sharing some love and insights on magic
TYPICA MEJORADO WASHED

All roasted 25/03
And…..
a secret coffee harvested on the same period ( end 2025) , same origin , varietal and process of course …
and roasted only 6 days later
(Added just for fun )
Finally a note of gratitude to Julian @reviews_coffee for coming up with the idea …

Although everything in life is ephemeral,
-as a good cup of coffee -
there are moments that transgress time and become memoriesto cherish forever .
I’ve long been an advocate of putting Nature as the primordial source of life , therefore preserving it and always live around it .
As a solo climber I had the privilege to sense nature and its wonders in the most crude and untamed way …
I was a true hermit a solitary being …
This was me until I met coffee and its community.
Every year when I attend an event my heart fills deeply with the emotion and sense of “belonging “.
The San Diego show was another beautiful iteration of that experience.
Much gratitude to all volunteers &
of course to our beloved partners for letting us brew in their booths
Coffee is and will always represent something unique and special .
If you thing about it ,the coffeeritual sums up
the 4 elements of Nature ( water , earth , wind and fire ) and it summons some of thedeepestvalues in our humanity ( sensibility , responsibility, equality and love….)
Moreover , what we call “coffee” is actually the coffee tree most valued element , its seed !
It’s beyond the fruit , it’s the vital energy , it’s permanence …
Then there is the ritual of brewing coffee , somehow connecting deeply with your soul while you explore remote regions & origins , a bit like
traveling without moving ...
So much magic everywhere we look into….
Just wanted to say this loudly as a coffee & ecosystem producer : thank you coffee community for giving purpose and a platform to my life and thank you for being a part of the gathering force of preserving our ecosystems through your input of love !
Us pushing together makes the world a better place
At the end it’s all about INTERTIA
Ps : special shout out for the magic
