A sample from my latest endeavor:
If Worms Could Sing

This serves as a proof of concept for sonification of video matrix data. Here, I am using found footage, but there is prospect of implementing real worms soon. No animals were harmed in the making of this project.

Sunday Nov. 24th 12-3pm
Polaroid Transfer Workshop

Have you ever wanted to take your instant film photography game to the next level? To take that photograph and unburden it from the white frame in which it lives? Then this workshop is for you. Lead by a favorite Voyeur Bordello analog photographer, Cazmuck.

“But just what is a Polaroid transfer?” You may be asking yourself. A Polaroid transfer is an image manipulation technique in which you transfer the image from a Polaroid instant print onto paper, wood, or other substrate. In other words, it’s a way to ‘unbox’ the picture of the polaroid frame and transfer the image underneath the plastic and emulsion onto whatever surface you want.

But this practice is not as straightforward as it might sound. Thank goodness we have alternative process extraordinaire Cazmuck here to lead the way.

In this 3 hour workshop you will learn how to lift the Polaroid film from its original frame and transfer it to another surface. In this case we will transfer to watercolor paper, however this technique can be used on a multitude of surfaces.

All supplies provided including polaroid film!
No photography experience necessary, just a love for art & film.

Limit 8 people.

In case you missed it at the Voyeur Bordello’s grand opening, here is my latest piece!

Shot on 120 film, printed on 20”x24” vintage darkroom paper. Marks made with grease pencil. “Flux” is the first of a series I’m working on, juxtaposing organic with the inorganic

Not sure why I never posted these, but this is my series, Manipulated.

In it I play with different techniques of altering images by hand— sewing, weaving, cutting and pasting, and burning. As well as the ideas of identity and relationship.
