Up and Coming International Film Festival in Hannover is a discovery festival, a place to meet and a springboard for young talents up to the age of 27 years from Germany and all over the world.

Inspired by her grandparents’ photographs and the pre-wedding industry in Medan, Indonesia, Edlin constructed a tale of two people who came together to be in one picture. A picture that will be on their living room walls for their children to see, and the children of their children to see.

The Wedding Photo is a 16mm film that was developed and finished in Katharina Ludin’s and Anna Ilin’s seminar Working with Limitation(s) of the University of Arts, Berlin in the Arts & Media faculty.
