BTS of how we shot the intro shot for this @samueladamsbeer March Madness TV spot.

We used the new @dzofilm X-Tract probe zoom lens on the phantom camera, mounted on @camerabotics robot to pull focus such that it tracked the beer pour and added a parallel zoom out pull for a more dramatic shot. Getting the timing right on all these moving parts (no pun intended) to match the pour from @drewsmethurstfx pour rig is a technical challenge that I enjoy very much. It can get tense though; but once we have it down, we can repeat while tweaking certain things until…well….Tim is satisfied 🤣🦾

The preps for shoots that involve all our brain power, capabilities and team members are just as fun as the actual shoot. Trust me.

Plenty of independent rigs to build, test and prep on all departments this past week. But nothing like the prep days when we all gather, start putting all the parts together and begin seeing what we’re gonna produce 🔥💥🦾🦾
