"The biggest challenge was telling the story of the lowering ceiling while only having three VFX shots for the entire film. We explored alternative ways to convey it — through lighting changes, a downward-moving top-down shot, a small wooden practical ceiling, and sound design. This required precise camera movements and contrasts to make the ceiling’s motion visible even on small screens, using contrast and lines to guide the viewer’s eye." - DP @leon.liehr
