Watra Zola is een vrouwelijk DJ duo met roots in Suriname en Zuid-Soedan, gespecialiseerd in de dynamische fusie van Afro-Elektronische geluiden. Ze streven ernaar de luisteraar op een volledige reis mee te nemen door een landschap van Afro-Elektronische muziek, met hun eigen unieke draai aan tracks.

This Friday we’re expecting good weather again, so the shutters will be up, our iconic plastic chairs back out on the street, and our boss Chaimae looking as sharp as ever. Couscous Fridays are still about three weeks away, but there’ll be snacks as always, and plenty of watermelon cocktails for those who know what’s good.

On the music side, we’ve got the icon female DJ duo WATRA ZOLA at moezeumcafé. Already making waves, they blend their Surinamese and South Sudanese roots into a vibrant mix of Afro-electronic sounds. With a strong sense of style and confidence, they take you on a journey through the many shades of Afro-electronic music.
