RETURN THE WEIGHT 🕊️

This event was for the strong daughters, caretakers, overachievers, and women carrying responsibilities that were never meant to be theirs alone.

During this experience we explored:
✨ generational patterns
✨ emotional weight & survival roles
✨ nervous system healing
✨ self-expression & reflection
✨ sisterhood & connection
✨ learning how to choose yourself without guilt

The room was filled with vulnerability, breakthroughs, tears, laughter, and women finally realizing they don’t have to carry everything alone anymore.

This is more than an event.
It’s a movement back to yourself. 🤍

And honestly… this felt like the beginning of something much bigger.

Would you join the next edition of Return The Weight?
Comment “READY” or send me a DM if you’d want to be there for the next experience 👇🏽✨

While my heart started racing, not knowing when I would be called upon the stage, I told myself: “I can do this, I’m gonna rock it!” And so I did, I guess being able to look calm from the outside helps in situations where I have to perform under pressure. A blessing & a curse I would say.

Because it is actually something I try to communicate more: “I’m not always doing fine when you see that smile or a calm Jamilla.” Because that is eventually something I as a strong daughter struggle with the most. I can talk about feelings, but actually being able to hold them, feel and acknowledge them is a different ball game. Let alone shed a tear in someone’s presence.

This and so many more reasons of what I went through is why I started @travelin_harmony . A community of strong daughters that learn to soften, choose themselves and start creating a life THEY love. I do this through group conversations, transformation events & retreats and had over 40 women join these events so far.

This pitch was a win, I stood up there and multiple women came up to me telling me they recognised themselves in my story. Yes I chose to let the women feel seen and invited them to start their journey. Afterwards I realised maybe I was playing it safe, but that doesn’t takeaway the impact and conversations I had.

I am grateful for this opportunity growth and insights.

Thanks to @wdossantoss @anoesjkaimambaks for organising ⛴️
@sara_traint for the pitch training 🗣️ , I definitely found a beautiful mission statement. @pauleau_ for hosting 🎤 and making it seem easy & @dixsept.photography for the 📸

The way you relate to your mom
is the way you relate to everyone.

Other women.
Your partner.
Yourself.

Were you taking care of her?
Did you feel safe?
Did you feel wanted?

Maybe you told yourself you’d do it all differently.

And yet here you are —
repeating it.
Or not letting anyone in at all.
This isn’t about blame.

It’s about the blueprint
your first relationship left inside you.

This weekend is Mother’s Day.

Instead of scrolling past it —
come sit with women who get it.

Different stories. Same root.

Saturday May 9th · 14:00–17:00 · Motel One

The strong daughter often looks powerful on the outside…
but inside she may be tired of carrying everything alone.

Hyper-independence.
Perfectionism.
Self-abandonment.
Always being the strong one.
Always figuring it out.
Always putting herself last.

What once helped her survive
can quietly start costing her peace.

That’s why I created The Departure Lounge ✈️

A safe space for ambitious women who are ready to become more aware, reconnect with themselves, and break free from patterns that no longer fit.

We focus on:

* self-trust
* boundaries
* needs
* emotional freedom
* softer strength
* creating a life that feels aligned

At the last event, women felt deeply seen.

Many realized that what they thought was just “who they are”
was actually conditioning.

And awareness is often the first step to freedom.

The next Departure Lounge is on May 9th.

If you feel called, send me a DM with LOUNGE for details ✨

Want to know where you currently stand in these patterns?
Comment GUIDE and I’ll send you the free Check-In Guide.

Many women think boundaries begin with saying no.

But boundaries often begin much earlier:
with knowing what you feel, what you want, and what you’ve been swallowing for years.

Sometimes the body speaks first.
Tension. Tight throat. Pressure. Fatigue.

Your body may be carrying words you never gave yourself permission to say.

The Departure Lounge is where we reconnect women to their own inner voice.

What a weekend! Seeing the transformation during Return the Weight was absolutely incredible.🥹

There is nothing quite like the moment someone realizes they’ve been carrying a heavy backpack that doesn’t even belong to them. We went deep, looking at our younger selves and those “invisible deals” we made long ago to keep everything together.

The Best Part?
The “shaking off.” Literally! Watching everyone physically let go of that old weight and stand up taller was the highlight for us. We created such a safe, beautiful space together, and the growth we witnessed was pure magic.

What we did:
• Stopped the “I’ll do it all myself” cycle.
• Looked at the old rules we created as kids.
• Gave the heavy stuff back to where it belongs.
• Breathed. For the first time in a long time.

We are so incredibly grateful for the trust in the room. It wasn’t about working harder; it was about finally feeling lighter.

If you look at your own life right now, what is one thing you’re carrying that you know deep down isn’t yours to hold?
(If you’re ready to put that bag down, keep an eye out for the next Return the Weight or step into the Departure Lounge—where we make room for the real you to take flight!)

Major thanks to @cynthialouisenl as support coach and @franka_v_h for capturing this in a safe way🙏🏽✨

The launch of ‘The Departure Lounge’ community events with @travelin_harmony was so wholesome. One of the first times I could really really feel how proud I am. I always used to feel empty after hosting events or trips because I was just doing it from survival modus.

But I am starting to soften, soften in my internal feminine power. Stepping into that power is so much more than making it happen. I think comes all down to if you are able to feel the emotions that come with what you’ve accomplished. Not running on dopamine but being grounded and trusting everything in the process.

So after sharing this important moment with 11 women choosing themselves, It made me soo excited for the rest of the year.

You know that ‘Return the Weight’ is not just giving some solutions to the symptoms. During this day we create a base for you to make it easier to actually work against those symptoms.

They dissolve or the base that we create helps you taking back your place as a daughter.

With different rituals we will acknowledge the “contract” you’ve signed.
With a powerful ritual We will let go of what we’ve been carrying for far too long.
After that it’s time to experience the support that has always been there and is your birthright.

If this resonates with you comment with ‘RETURN THE WEIGHT’ or send us a DM. We will answer personally no automated DM’s to see of this is a match with where you are at right now.

Much love TravelinHarmony

Ps: hey strong daugher stop being so hard on yourself, know that it’s time you start choosing yourself 🌻🫂

Hey Strong Daughter! It’s not your weight to carry anymore 🫶🏽

We are still catching our breath after the first Departure Lounge. To the women who showed up: we are so incredibly proud of the raw honesty you brought into the room. Seeing you dismantle the “Strong Daughter” blueprint and face the real costs of “carrying it all” was a radical shift for all of us.

🤓What have we learned? Looking at the words we captured from our conversations, it’s clear—the era of playing small and over-functioning is officially over. We felt the weight lift the moment we started speaking the truth.

If you are ready to stop being the anchor and start reclaiming your energy, we want to see you at the next gates:

🗓️ March 29 (17:00 - 21:00) | The Baggage Drop: This is our deep-dive Transformation Event (including dinner) where we mechanically return the weight that isn’t yours.

🗓️ April 12 (13:00 - 15:00) | The Departure Lounge: Strong Daughters & Setting Boundaries. Our next free session to find clarity and connection.

Let’s keep this movement going.

💬Comment “I’M IN” below and we’ll send you the link to RSVP and secure your spot.
