After two decades of celebrating, honoring, and sharing honest, personal mental health journeys—we’re stoked to announce that we’ve made our very own coffee table book! 20 years is a long time and deserves something with literal weight.
Throughout the pages, you’ll find special moments we’ve encountered on the road, personal stories contributed by this community over the years, reflections from both founder Jamie Tworkowski and Renee Yohe, who helped start it all, and the ever-evolving power of hope, help, and healing.

Tomorrow needs you. Tomorrow would not be the same without your energy, your perspective, your hopes, your humor, or your presence. May these words find you whenever you need to be reminded of their truth, and may you wear this when someone else needs that exact message, too.
Understated Hoodie now available in our online store at store.twloha.com.

Stories connect us. They remind us that we’re not alone.
When Jamie Tworkowski shared Renee’s story on Myspace for the first time, people saw themselves in it. Or their friends. Their siblings. Their parents. For many, it gave language to things they had only carried silently before. It gave space for people to finally say, “Me too.”
What started as an attempt to help one friend became something thousands of people needed.
At the time, mental health wasn’t talked about the way it is now. Resources were harder to find. Honest conversations were rare. But this movement grew from a simple goal: to meet people in their pain and remind them that hope is real and help is possible.
Over the last 20 years, we’ve worked to build bridges to support people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide.
Now, two decades later, we’re telling that story.
Our short documentary premieres on YouTube on May 31 at 8 pm ET. We absolutely cannot wait to share it with you.
We don’t have to be constantly improving, growing, and healing all the time. Have you had fun yet today? 🌼

We have a worksheet on our self-care page titled “Everything Is Awful And I’m Not Okay.” It gives you questions like those in this image and more to ask yourself before you throw in the towel. We know there are so many people out there who are overwhelmed and struggling. These questions are really helpful when you find yourself in that place. Addressing your basic needs can truly help you through a heavy moment.
We know it won’t solve the bigger issue, but the goal is to see yourself through the heavy moment. Making it to the other side, taking it step by step. Minute by minute. Hour by hour. Day by day. You’ve made it this far, and you will make it through this, too. You are stronger and more capable than you think.
This worksheet can be used alone or as a companion to the guided practice
“In The Midst of Depression” led by LMHC Joseph Burton, which is available at twloha.com/toolkit.

Peer support can be a reminder that healing doesn’t only happen in isolation. It can happen in community, too. Sometimes it starts with simply hearing someone say, “Me too,” or realizing other people are navigating similar struggles, questions, or seasons of life.
Whether you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, lonely, or just tired of trying to figure things out on your own, peer support can offer a softer place to land.
Groups like TWLOHA’s online peer support gatherings (in collaboration with Peer Support Space) are free, confidential, and led by trained peer facilitators—people with lived experience who understand the power of being heard and supported. TWLOHA also offers additional identity-based groups throughout the week. You can explore all available groups at twloha.com/peersupport.
