I started getting this feeling a little while ago, a kind of dread. The feeling was primal, it felt universal, it was like an instinctual oppressive dread. It presented as memory, like Deja vu; night time in the cold wilderness, the light of the fire dwindling. Hungry eyes waiting in the darkness for the chance to strike. The wolves licking their lips waiting.
The lights are flickering, and the “wolves” are taking advantage: they prowl city streets day and night. they enter homes businesses and places of sanctuary. Everywhere they go they destroy, terrorize, and kill.
The wolves are at the door.

Finally made it back out to 52 O St Studios! This time around, I had an absolute blast visiting Thundershark Gallery run by the amazing artists, Mike O'Brien (@redtablepress) & Rachel Wallach (@rachelwallach).
This weekend was the Opening Reception for "Round 2" of the "Fighting Shadows" series--curated by fellow artist, Trei Ramsey (@treihova). This exhibit celebrates the vibrant art community in the DMV and recognizes the internal struggles artists face while working in this field.
