Hushed conversation, machinery drone, cello sonorous and toy piano improvisation from Perry’s daughter combine into a heady and at once familiar narration that invokes fragmentary memory. This is a nervous system in reset and release.
BPM is industrial materials and carceral geography made sculptural installation, rattling and echoing through a space at once expansive and claustrophobic; personal in a way almost rapturous. Snaking and twisting pipes writhe into serpent-like heads with sub-woofer faces; greeted by the gestural (de)FENDER, clawing its way.
Assembled from salvaged industrial piping and caging; and embellished and fastened with the industrial love note of the padlock; the bunker installation made up of FENDER//RECKLESS ICONS//BPM(THRASH) is Perry’s inner world embodied. Personifying and somatically charging the architectural and industrial framework with its own life.

LAN-Kraftwerk opens tonight in Berlin!
A 30 hour continuous programme from today until Sunday night.
Originally developed for Wojtyla’s solo exhibition LAN in TICK TACK (2025), a site-dependent participatory installation is built around a 10-person local area network. In this iteration during Atonal, the physical space of Kraftwerk doubles as a battle arena. Its recognizable architectural forms are translated into a playable map for Unreal Tournament 2004, where participants explore, run, jump, and frag through a digital replica of the architecture surrounding them. Rooted in the DIY gaming culture of the early 2000s, LAN operates through an ethos of techno-brutalism, insisting on the rawness of utility, where efficiency, necessity, and directness become the aesthetic of a social gathering.
