Progress isn’t always straightforward. It shifts depending on where you’re looking from—different times, places, and contexts shape what we think of as moving forward. What feels like progress to one person might feel like something’s been lost to another.

For issue #10 of STUDIO magazine, Victor and I wanted to explore that idea by playing with scale. We created a series of miniature sets that sit in an undefined space—not quite rooted in the past or the future. They’re somewhere in between, open to interpretation.

Working on this project with Victor . We spent a lot of time talking through the small details, imagining what kind of characters might belong in each world. It was a real pleasure creating these scenes with you @victor_boccard andthanks to my team for pulling off the build, along with some wild scanning and 3D printing turnarounds. The prints came out exactly as we hoped: aged, crumbling, almost monolithic. @nyk_mensah 🙏🏻🙏🏻
