We’re thrilled to announce our brand new show, PARTY SEASON.

Three parties. One weekend. The invitations have been sent and there’s no going back…it’s Party Season!

Xander is back in town, and this weekend he’s on parenting duty. The kids are in the ball pit; the Entertainer is blowing bubbles; the adults gobble Perelló olives and pretend to like each other. As ancient grudges rear their heads, the tension rises like a helium balloon. Caught between who he was and who he’s supposed to be, Xander must decide whether he’s going to grow up or just pass the parcel.

From the multi-award-winning creators of Education, Education, Education and The Last of the Pelican Daughters comes a sugar-fuelled, bobbin-winding fever dream where class identities collide, social niceties unravel, and underslept parents do their best to hold it all together. 

Coming to theatres Spring 2026, Party Season is a razor-sharp new comedy about privilege, party rings and the pressures of being a parent. RSVP!

Welcome to the prettiest, most feminist feminist show ever!

Five really pretty self-proclaimed feminists submit themselves to the rules of the game. Playful, wild and ever-so-slightly vile, ‘Trophies’ is a raw and honest conversation about the ethics of competition and the constant need to be politically righteous and incredibly hot.

Is it sexy to sport a full bush in your bikini?
Can a feminist date a tory?
Should we kill all men? (except your bisexual boyfriend with the moustache)
Why am I personally offended by Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner’s relationship?

Come and judge us. Or push us off our pedestal. We promise we’re really really feminist and really really pretty xxx

Dead Dove: Do Not Eat

Somewhere on the internet, four fans scribble in the dark. Desperately alone, they conjure unofficial worlds of unofficial literature. Embarrassing, heartfelt and dangerous, they weave fictions to create connection, reframe the narrative and transform reality itself.

Sitting precariously between fantasy, reality, and copyright infringement, ‘Dead Dove: Do Not Eat’ exposes the stories we write for ourselves, and the worlds we redesign in our image.

Thank you so much to our three brilliant trainees @gracie.eve_, @henry.lamb03 and @bryony_the_thespian for all their amazing work on Party Season!

It’s been wonderful to see them grow from their time with us as students on the Acting and Devised Theatre BA to working on this professional production. They’ve jumped into the process so naturally and brought real rigour, energy and creativity to each of their roles. We honestly can’t thank them enough!

We hope this experience gives them plenty to take into their own theatre-making and we look forward to seeing what they all get up to in the future! ✨

Along with other ADT graduates, their company @kismetbristol, will be heading to the Edinburgh Fringe with their show Codetta. As we know all too well, it’s a big feat taking an ensemble show to Edinburgh - and it’s a lot harder than it was 15 years ago. The company have set up crowdfunder in case you feel able to support. Party Season opens TONIGHT at Royal & Derngate, Northampton and runs until 11 April.

PARTY SEASON 🎭

Party Season, the latest production from @thewardrobeensemble, opens at @royalderngate Northampton on 2 April before touring to regional venues, including @bristololdvic1766 this May.

We’re incredibly proud to see recent graduates @gracie.eve_ (Trainee Assistant Director), @henry.lamb03 (Trainee Assistant Producer) and @bryonybishop (Trainee Assistant Stage Manager) contributing to the production. As part of The Wardrobe Ensemble’s artist development programme, they’re putting their training into practice in a professional setting, gaining invaluable hands-on experience while helping bring a new piece of work to life.

It’s been fantastic to watch them grow, develop their craft, and play a key role in this exciting project.
