Commissioned by the British Embassy Paris, The Norm, in collaboration with Daniella McNulty, presents a landmark LGBTQI+ inclusive cultural program and exhibition with British and French artists.

“SACRED BODIES” explores how contemporary culture turns bodies into figures of fascination.
Through photography, installation, and staged imagery, Darius Salimi Iruzubieta and Clément Louis present bodies that move between intimacy and idealization. Darius constructs carefully composed figures that borrow from the language of sacred imagery, while Clément places idealized male bodies within quiet, everyday moments.
Together, the exhibition reflects on our tendency to project desire, fantasy, beauty, and meaning onto the “perfect bodies”, thus sacred bodies.
