Altars pleading for the mercy of the sun. Parallel worlds in which Cleopatra rules the Roman Empire alongside Marcus Antonius. French perspective painting opening into celestial spaces filled with legends and memories.

In the works of French artist and architect Guillaume Sardin, imaginative counterworlds merge with anthropological perspectives and cultural narratives drawn from different times and parts of the world.

In Malicorne-sur-Sarthe, one of France’s oldest centers of faïence, I had the chance to paint in a timeless atelier. Turning ceramic plates into pages from my sketchbook. It was suething for the soul ! And now you can collect one of the plates !
