We are a little late to the party, but we both feel we can bring a different kind of value to our listeners.

first 🏆 and tied second at the PGA Championship, and a perfect study in how differently two great players can move.

Assess someone’s movement properly and you get a clear read on how their shoulders and arms swing, the hand path depth they’re likely to produce, the nature of their wrist and forearm action — and how all of that shapes the hand and club trajectories.

Aaron Rai: more hand-path depth, less arm and club rotation in the backswing. “Deep and Steep.”

Jon Rahm: significant forearm and club rotation lowering the trajectory of the club head, and limited elbow depth raising the trajectory of the hand path.

Both work. Two beautiful examples of swinging YOUR swing.

Tiger stingers just hit different.

Let’s look at the biggest differences in his swing data between his stinger and stock swings.

1. Stinger swing shows a much more “stacked” upper and lower body measured by the sway gap
2. Stinger swing shows a more forward center of mass measured by pelvis and chest sway - throughout the swing
3. Stinger swing also shows less chest turn in the backswing and downswing

Great afternoon at the amazing @dutchmanspipeclub in Palm Beach with @spencergolfcoaching. Played a few holes and did some wedge testing on @sportsbox.

The course has just reopened and is a first-class club — outstanding course, exceptional practice facilities, and a beautiful Marriott Autograph Collection hotel on site.

I’ll be based at Dutchman’s Pipe until heading back to Hudson National (NY) when we reopen in April.

Very excited to showcase Sportsbox at the PGA Show next week.

I’ll be teaching lessons and demonstrating how I use Sportsbox to measure movement and support coaching decisions during the Sportsbox Certification on Tuesday, alongside Phil and Edwin.
