The Anzar Project was developed during a residency organized by @ammeformusic as part of the @tekchbilaproject . It celebrates the vital role of water in Amazigh mythology. Initiated in 2022, during a time of ongoing droughts, the project highlights the importance of this precious resource while paying homage to Anzar, the rain deity of Amazigh mythology, through a blend of experimental soundscapes and Ribab/Luthar.
✨ ANZAR is a unique collaboration between electronic producer @iae_eouaoaii and Amazigh Rais musician Yassine watcha & @kledortz on the visuals
This showcase, organized by @iza7a.mag in collaboration with @artexplorafestival and @le18marrakech , marks the release of the Anzar album which will be out on November 22.
📼 Exclusive merchandise will be available for purchase during the event
🇵🇸 A fundraiser will also set up to support OWNEH initiative in collaboration with @pac_soc 🇵🇸
