Yung Hurn [@y.hurn], an innovator and pioneer of German rap and German-speaking music, dropped a video for his song βSamurai Schwert.β Released under his project LOVE HOTEL BAND, itβs a family affair with legendary German producer Stickle [@__stickle__]. A slower, melancholic song, it showcases Yung Hurn is much more than just his trap sound. The keys that sit further back in the mix drive the production forward along with a melodic bass that stands out.
Paying homage to Chief Keef, Yung Hurnβs flow in the second verse takes on the flow of βLove Sosa.β Itβs an unexpected intersection with the Chicago legend. Coming back into the hook, the song is a tragic interpretation of poorly fated love and self-hatred.
