🤩💫🌟 I had the most *stellar* time at The Gold Coast Book Fair reading SPARKLES FOR SUNNY and connecting with #kidlit creators and supporters! So grateful to be a part of this amazing event close to my childhood home!

Highlights:

*Reading SPARKLES FOR SUNNY to attendees, with a show-n-tell of a DIY Chinese outfit I made my son plus pics of my older sisters and me as a baby, with hand-me-downs as we got older! Loved chatting more after while signing copies and handing out sparkly swag!

*Meeting DOUBLE HAPPINESS author Heather Eng at her panel, asking her to sign her book, and finding out we both grew up in Queens and went to Townsend Harris High School (@thhsalumni)!

*Grabbing a selfie with Rob Cameron after his panel—*so* good to see you again!

*Catching Hyewon Yum at her TOTO storytime. It was so heart-filling to see families enjoying your reading!

*Meeting Della Ferreri—congrats on being part of the book fair with your lovely storytime too!

*Finding out the storytime emcee was Sue Hodara! It’s always so neat to see fellow #kidlit creators at book events!

*Having the lucky chance to meet one of the festival organizers Ann Binney! It was so very lovely chatting with you—thank you again for inviting me to be a part of your spectacular Gold Coast Book Fair!

*The Author Green Room was such a welcoming space to relax and reenergize. Those sandwiches were SO good. If I’m ever back in town, I'd go back to The Audrey (@theaudreyob) in a heartbeat!

*Most importantly, *THANK YOU* to all the Gold Coast Book Fair organizers, volunteers, and sponsors, and Theodore's Books for making such a fantastic book fair possible and a standout success for your community and beyond. Thank you!!!
