COWBOY GANG EXPANDS THE BAND 🎸

1 MORE SLEEP COWPOKES, LAST CHANCE FOR TICKETS 🎟️

Sounds of banjos and harmonicas have been echoing all through town which can only mean one thing. @king_ewan_whatarmy has arrived but this time the sounds are louder than ever. Sounds like he’s got a new member. Rumour has it that the sensational @sweetfa_drag has joined the gang and they’ll be making an absolute ruckus at @outlawscabaret on the 28th May at @tradese17 🤠

If you’re cool, you were probably at the last Oitlaws cabaret and watched me and @king_ewan_whatarmy official form our brotherhood for the whole world to see. You can imagine how excited I am to see him take the stage again with the drag legend @sweetfa_drag by his side ✨

LAST FEW ADVANCE TICKETS available on @outsavvy and in @outlawscabaret bio 🎟️

It is a truth universally acknowledged that Regenslay is a gorgeous show. @curly_curly_curly_ makes these shows with such joy and care. Support their work! I had such a fun night and the whole cast unsurprisingly absolutely smashed it.

I particularly enjoyed celebrating a Sapphic wedding as Bishop Jane Austen.

Because of *gesticulates at the world* EVERYTHING I seem to be making acts about feminine rage a lot. So here is Jane Austen letting out a little of what I imagine she felt and channeled into her books. I think she was a proto feminist who wrote about the plight of women when their only option was marriage... As an unmarried, talented, ambitious woman.

Jane was cheated out of any royalties for Pride and Prejudice, she fought to be published as a woman, and spent her life moving around her family members and trying to make money from her writing. Her beloved sister Cassandra burnt a lot of their letters after Jane's death, apparently this was because they were bitchy. She was censored, as a certain reputation had to be upheld, even after death. Joyously some of her remaining letters show just how funny and yes, bitchy she was.

I hate Mansfield Park and Sense and Sensibility but I adore Pride and Prejudice. Am I advocating for all of Jane's work? No. Was she a whole multifaceted woman who defied society and became a literary legend and the UK's most famous female author? Yes.

Here's to Jane, all of her, uncensored.

Bonus content, Jane's Dad was a vicar who was known as 'the handsome proctor' because of his lovely hair!

More than 80 queer collectives and artists in the UK have signed our open letter, calling on the community to respect the boycott of Mighty Hoopla.

To those still on the line-up: this is not an attack, but an invitation into community. It is not too late to do the right thing.

SQUINT is back at CPT! @camdenpeoplestheatre

That’s right, they let us back in the building.
2 WiP performances from extraordinary queer artists per night, aren’t you all just sooo lucky? We can’t wait to see you there so get your tickets here- https://cptheatre.co.uk/whatson/Squint-26

LINEUP-

02 MAY
Sweatmother- I WANT TO BE A TV
An Expanded cinema performance
What transactions are required of us to survive in real time under erasure and surveillance? This performance by
Sweatmother examines how these conditions impact marginalized people globally, with a particular focus on trans
lives. Using AV synthesis and video manipulation, the work translates erasure into sensory and emotional experience.
@sweatmother

Sweet FA
Let us gay, I mean pray, ICONoclast is about reckoning with and exploring the huge amount of queer history within Catholicism. It’s about trans saints, women apostles, gay poly monks, Sapphic nuns, activism, solidarity, and the holiness of queerness. In ICONoclast, Sweet FA will put the trans in transubstantiation, the ass in stained glass, and the queerness back into history. What does it mean to be an icon, and whose stories get told and how? Honestly, it’s not written yet but it will probably contain at least some of these, and jokes, live singing, lip syncing and probably partial nudity-it’s a WIP drag show after all.
This show is for all the people who have been told they don’t belong, you are divine.
@sweetfa_drag

23 May
Liv Ello is back!! @liv_ello

Liv Ello is a real bad boy (a work-in-progress).
Liv Ello is a bad-boy-in-progress.
Join award-winning writer-performer and anarchist clown Liv Ello for this gloriously chaotic new work-in-progress comedy show, fresh from Fringe hits SWARM and BODY SHOW.
In this silly, swaggering work-in-progress, Liv straps on the sunglasses of toxic masculinity and asks: is he a REAL bad boy… or just bad at being a boy?
Through physical comedy, lip-sync, audio-visual mash-up and fever-dream cabaret, Liv builds (and repeatedly drops) a hyper-masculine alter ego – part James Dean, part dodgem-car Lothario, part 13-year-old at a rural Essex fairground trying on knock-off leather jackets of identity.

SACRILEGE

Finally made an act about rage, misogyny and queerphobia. (In general but especially in Catholicism.) This felt very vulnerable as I've not really revealed me onstage as the person behind/inside, ooerr, Sweet FA.

When I perform I always get asked if I'm a real priest and I have to explain that I can't be one, because of my anatomy. The Catholic Church says only cis men can do this job, only they can embody Jesus. The church was actually more progressive on many issues in the past. Queers, people from the global majority, women, trans people- our stories are there throughout Catholic history if you look for them. And boy oh boy have I been looking for them.

This act is the starting piece of my one person show ICONoclast, so if you want to know more about queer nuns, poly monks, trans saints, come along on 26th February to the Auntie's Ballroom at Little Nan's 2.0 for the first half hour WIP of the show. And you'll get to see @crustydrag 's show
too! Ticket link in bio. If you need a free ticket, or want to invite any rich producers, or want to book this act, email me at sweetfadrag@gmail.com

Massive thank you to the glorious:
@clay_taurus for the leather and rosary bead harnesses(and all the lovely hangouts while making them)
@aidenstrickland for support with the track
@jdwmk for the photos

Yes I did have to tit tape myself into a thong for this.
Yes now we all know what I look like when I fuck a book.
Yes if we sell out I will wear this outfit again.
You're welcome.

Please don't tell Sweet FA's bishop about this.

@jdwmk for the photos

Yes I did have to tit tape myself into a thong for this.
Yes now we all know what I look like when I fuck a book.
Yes if we sell out I will wear this outfit again.
You're welcome.

Please don't tell Sweet FA's bishop about this.

HOMOglobin and ICONoclast is a WIP double bill by Crusty and Sweet FA.

Why see one drag weirdo's work in progress show when you could see two in one evening? It's an unholy miracle!

Crusty and Sweet have been friends and collaborators since their Not Another Drag Competition days, it was love at first blessing and cat scrunchie anus, so we've decided to work together on our one person shows and present them to the world in tandem. We work together side by side and our shows will too.

These will be excerpts, not the full length shows. (Estimated time 30 minutes each)

When: Thursday 26th Feb 2026
Where: Auntie’s Ballroom, Little Nan’s bar 2.0, arch 24 Resolution Way, Deptford (1 minute from Deptford station)
What time: doors at 7, shows at 8
TICKETS ON OUTSAVVY, LINK IN BIO
(if you need a free ticket email sweetfadrag@gmail.com)

Love Queers 100 : Sweet FA // @sweetfa_drag (He/Him) ⚡️

What would happen if Alan Bennett did Sister Act, Sweet FA spreads the word about solidarity and community, he’s one of the co-producers of Drag Down the Borders and is co-organiser of drag king and thing choir The Male Gayze.

It's true wherever you find love, it feels like Christmas.

Rounding off a gorgeous year of Male Gayze choir shenanigans with the Muppets.

Solidarity forever.

'There is no such thing as a single-issue struggle because we do not live single-issue lives.'
Audre Lorde

Don't ever let anyone make you think that it isn't possible to act and be in solidarity with more than one cause and people at a time.

It's free Palestine AND Sudan AND Congo AND East Turkestan AND all oppressed people. Our struggles are linked. Keep donating, protesting, disrupting, lobbying, keep doing something.

Anyway here are some gorgeous pictures by @jdwmk from Be Gay, Boycott Eurovision.

I made this act for the event, it's a rewrite of Anxiety by Doechii, rewritten as Solidarity, with the verses featuring amazing past and present activists Harvey Milk, Fannie Lou Hamer, and @bi.curious.george_drag and the video features acts and movements of solidarity throughout history. The idea came to me in Calais, a place where solidarity is really needed, and was written hungover on a train across France, I recorded all the vocal parts in one of my best best friend's flats, and the track and video were put together by the ineffable @pip.dream and the phenomenal @aidenstrickland (I wouldn't be half the drag I am without these two)

Had to include this image of me tucking my hair behind me ear coyly?! with the legend @contains_mild_peril where it looks like we're on Question Time. Running @dragdowntheborders with them and @justdragthingsxo is an honour, a privilege, a joy, and a lot of fucking hard work and I am so so so proud of us. Roll on the next two weeks.

Also pictured is the Male Gayze, the gorgeous drag king and thing choir run by the incomparable @king_len_blanco and myself. Getting to sing with these gorgeous humans is one of the joys of my life, whether in rehearsal, in carparks or on stages, these Gayze have my heart.

Standing on a stage in fornt of 700 people who sang along to solidarity forever with me, really made me feel like a change is coming, all we have to do is keep fucking going.

Love you x
