5 non-professional Thai-speaking actorsβ€”who responded to my casting call posted in online β€œThais in NYC” forumsβ€”were asked to step into the role of my father and improvise dialogue to questions I asked. The actors were given minimal information about the person they were performing. Here are some excerpts from Wuthichai (Exit Interview).

I'm honored to be included in the book Fire Island Art: 100 Years by John Dempsey, mentioned alongside artists I greatly admire.

Thank you so much @ksenia.m.soboleva for including my photography of @fireislandresidency residents in your expansive and important account of lesbian artists, art, and culture in FI history.

My portrait series with FIAR artists-in-residence is one of my proudest bodies of work. No coincidence that it's made with pure spirit of collaboration, play, and joy that comes from queer people gathering together in queer spaces. I'm thankful to have the opportunity to document all the amazing residents in these past years.

My portrait in the book is of the incredible @aminaontheinternet in 2023 at Cherry Grove, FI

Essay by Ksenia M. Soboleva, "Why Have There Been No Great Lesbian Artists in Cherry Grove?"

What if we made β€œSurvivor but every contestant is an artist” together this summer? JK...Unless?

CALLING FOR NYC artists to be casted in a satire a la Survivor-styled shoot in which contestants are artists playing fictionalized versions of themselves. Shot in one day this summer (June-Aug). The objective is to create something fun at minimum and healing at best, through some humor and play.

Learn more + express your interest in being CAST or CREW via Google Form link in my bio. Rolling basis. Currently gauging interest in making this happen.

YOU: An artist, not necessarily a Survivor watcher. No acting skills required.

ME: A Survivor enthusiast with AV equipment. A can-do attitude and ability to make fire.

Thank you!

Excited to have new prints up as part of the group show The Garden, at @BGSQD at The LGBT Center, NYC. Opening this Saturday, Dec 6, 6-8pm, and on view through March 1, 2026.

The Garden is curated by @jsp_icer and features works by @rhiannon_adam @deborahbrightart @sara.duell @naimagreen @sunnyleeras @lindsayperryman @trays_pictures

Press release: The Garden is an art exhibition inspired by Monique Wittig's article β€œThe Garden” translated by Lorie Sauble-Otto’s 2007 in GLQ: A Journal of Lesbian and Gay Studies (Vol. 13, No. 4). Wittig, a French author, philosopher, feminist, and lesbian theorist, imagined radical spaces of lesbian existence; this exhibition offers a loose, contemporary interpretation of that vision.

Through darkroom prints, collage, scanned flowers, a deck of cards, photographic portraits, videos, and more, The Garden showcases at a time when LGBTQ+ lives face renewed threats. Bringing together artists Rhiannon Adam, Deborah Bright, Sara Duell, Naima Green, Lindsey Perryman, Sunny Leerasanthanah, and Tray Tsui, the exhibition foregrounds lesbian vision, presence, creativity, and connection.

Images of "Pain" at the Picture Collection @nypl @nyplpicturecollection

When my work (and general life) can be so screen-bound, access to physical archives and libraries feels precious.

Some of my new work based on the collection's trove of pictures will be in the group show The Garden at @bgsqd, curated by @jsp_icer, opening this saturday, Dec 6, 6-8pm
