For over 700 days, we dreamt of bringing this day to life for Kaci & Jack. Countless digital mockups, meticulously detailed layouts, and a perfectly crafted timeline all led to a day that we are SO proud of.

Working with Kaci and Jack was a dream. They were so kind and excited about the designs we put in front of them, and they allowed us to see into their everyday lives to figure out what makes them tick. We took those little details and wove them into the design everywhere we could — a drop-dead-gorgeous bookshelf escort display, sweeping satin drapes guiding all eyes to the altar, a platform completely surrounded by florals and candles… everything was designed with them in mind.

After a stunning ceremony, guests moved into the cocktail hour space while our vendor team completed a challenging room flip. Within 45 minutes, we moved every table, every chair, placed linens, moved florals, laid the dance floor, took down draping, and completely transformed the ballroom from an all-white affair to a swanky timeless-meets-modern reception vibe. We were all sweating when time was up, but the guests never would have noticed. That seamless guest experience is what we are all about.

Too many times, I see a boring cake shoved in the back of the room and forgotten about within the event experience. As a designer, I place a high emphasis on even the smallest of details, especially the ones (like cake) that allow me to tell my clients’ stories and bring their love to life.

If a world-famous artist could paint the story of your love for one another, what would it look like? Would there be soft strokes and gently placed petals, or would there be unexpected elements and textures that leave you wondering and wanting more?

The possibilities are truly limitless when it comes to cake design. Don’t be afraid to step out and go for it!
