I started @collectivescorner during COVID time because I wanted to focus my time, money, & energy on something cool to build for the community. What better than things I love?
My original vision started off as a ‘pop culture experience’, but it didn’t work out due to a few reasons. Year one, we also got a 30-day notice randomly (following a short lease agreement), that the owner was selling & had to be out ASAP. I was heartbroken. Took me months, but then I found location #2 (which is now our current 7008 Maple St. location). I took the risk & went from 850 sq. ft to 3,900 sq.ft of shop space. End of Year #2 I evolved & exclusively became a trading card shop after it not working out with my original vision/business partner.
Fast forward to year 4 where I now have built a team (with the absolute BEST GM I could for now) & we hit our first $1mil revenue year after MANY trials (theft, employee issues, financial risk, etc).
Now, going into year #5, I just launched my SECOND west Omaha location a few weeks ago. I know have an INCREDIBLE team who works to create the best experience for each customer that walks through the doors. From our endless selection of Pokemon singles, the community hang out spaces, to the helpful team - I couldn’t be more blessed with the business we’ve built.
Because of where we are, I can still focus on my my full-time service @djdevondupree & have time for faith, family, travels, & fun with community & I love every day I get to work to build each business God has blessed me with.

Every year @churchoftheheartlandomaha host a men’s conference. This isn’t just ANY men’s conference. This is a weekend men come together & grow closer to God pouring our hearts out to grow spiritually in worship, prayer, & in study. We also do a series of physical/mental challenges against other teams (obstacle courses, lifting, tug of war, dodgeball, relays, & so much).
This weekend was POWERFUL. The Holy Spirit was moving. I know I’ve seen generational chains break, brotherhoods formed, men going home better fathers, husbands, friends, & leaders in their communities. Men overcoming addictions, lack, & barriers. Many will go home with a disciplined mindset & never go back to old habits. I watched some get saved; giving their lives to God.
I will never not be in awe of what God does & who He is. Just the sheer presence of the Spirit shapes my heart & mind daily. I will never not give Christ all the glory for the rest of the days that I walk this Earth. I seen what He does & know what’s on the other side of what is to come. This weekend was another powerful testimony of that for not only me, but 100+ other men.

Many will go home with a disciplined mindset & never go back to old habits. I watched some get saved; giving their lives to God.
I will never not be in awe of what God does & who He is. Just the sheer presence of the Spirit shapes my heart & mind daily. I will never not give Christ all the glory for the rest of the days that I walk this Earth. I seen what He does & know what’s on the other side of what is to come.
