Lauded for its evocative cinematography, youthful spirit, and nostalgic, tender themes, An Nguyen’s We Used To Take The Long Way Home had a magical Los Angeles premiere — and there was no better place for it than @prooffilmfestival.

This film was made as a proof of concept from the beginning. We made it with love every step of the way, forging our own path when traditional support seemed impossible to find. Thanks to the incredible community at PROOF, we can see there is a place in this world for a feature version of this passion project.
