Just a quick contrast exercise this morning. As my Texture and Materials prof Ken Huff once said: "One of the most important things you can learn as an artist is when to just leave it the hell alone."

The rooms are getting darker and the lineups are getting longer which has seen me more or less glued to my desk at all hours this last month. To keep my hair from catching fire between long editing sessions I’ll often find a dark, quiet spot away from my desk, whip out my phone and rework a piece from one of my past assignments.

Tonight we open with one of my favorite crowd shots from @theportcomedy which happens to feature one of my least favorite lighting situations: monochromatic blue and red LEDs
