Last night was such a gift ✨

A group of us from @theactorsstudiodramaschool and @susan.aston private scenework class went to opening night of #IsGodIs by the wonderfully talented @aleshea.harris and 🤯.

The whole ensemble slayed‼️ Alesha did her big one writing and directing. It was beautiful to see Black rage on the screen.

We deserve to rage, twin!
Rage & vulnerability = poetry in motion

And then because the universe said here’s more, while we were taking a group picture in front of the poster who walked in but our girl @karaakter with @mallorixjohnson 🌟 the leads of the film, and the rage from the screen turned in so much joy!

So proud of the work you all did. Truly amazing and thank you to my scene partner “twin” Erica for introducing this play to me all those years ago.

It’s why I can never truly leave because even with all the dirt and grime NYC holds artists like no other.
