“It takes a lot of money to look this cheap.” This is a line by the one and only Dolly Parton that artist Neil Goldberg (@shecky2000) often uses when he teaches.

For this conversation at Skowhegan NYC, Neil brings together photographer Elle Pérez (@elleperex), choreographer Juliette Mapp (@julietteamapp), and writer Rabih Alameddine (@beirutiguy) to explore the references, metaphors, anecdotes, aphorisms, riffs, and bits they find themselves returning to in their teaching.

Together, we’ll reflect on humor, improvisation, vulnerability, self-reflection, and other ways of teaching and learning as an expressive, responsive exchange.
