Nerd Alert! We love sampling. If you know our music, you can probably tell how much this artform means to us... and of course, there are many amazing tools from the last few decades that offer different ways to approach it - so let us share one of our favourite machines with you here: The Yamaha VSS-30 may look more like a children's toy than a serious instrument, but make no mistake: This tiny keyboard is equipped with a bunch of bread and butter functions to get a lot out of what you put in there: ADSR, LFO, ping pong looping, a really dope echo and more... Most of all though, it sounds so damn musical (just listen to the sample pitching in this video). If you can get your hands on one of these, don't think twice!

Now this is very secret of course, but the label told us the other day that a very famous DJ just ordered his copy via bandcamp like so many of you guys did... would you believe? It seems the rumors are wrong and not all superstar selectors expect to get their music for free as promo, some are still willing to pay for hard studio work and put back into the cycle like all of you do!
