More than a gallery of sound art, Sacred Medicine is a living movement, woven through spirit, purpose, and ancestral remembrance. It stands as guardian to traditions long neglected, creating not merely for creativity’s sake, but with intention: art as ritual, sound as resistance, and frequency as medicine. What began as an ancestral mission continues as a sincere offering of healing vibration and transformative consciousness.

Each resonance carries encoded memory-skin upon skin, moss-born codes, and messages transmitted through stretched animal hide and sacred percussion. These frequencies move beyond performance, channeling a humble yet powerful force of artistic expression. Through the unseen architecture of sound, Sacred Medicine seeks to restore what has too often been misnamed, misunderstood, and misused.

Continuing this mission comes the latest composition from Sacred Medicine co-missionary Brother Ron Trent, presenting another chapter in hisseries of works : Electric Jungle, featuring Angel Figueora and Pablo Color. There is little need to explain what it sounds like- many already understand the language being spoken. Once again, the music speaks entirely for itself.

Equally deserving of recognition is the striking visual artwork created by award-winning artist DJ Underdog, whose visionary work once again graces the cover of the limited-run jacket edition, with only 1,000 copies produced worldwide.

Ministry of Sound holds a special weight in the culture — one of the last clubs Frankie Knuckles ever played, and a room where Larry Levan helped shape the system’s sound in its early days.
