Dengue Fever has a very special gig coming up May 16 at Gold diggers LA.
This is the first time we will play a full acoustic set for a club audience.
We’ll take a short break and then come back for full electric set.
It’s definitely gonna be a special night, love to see everyone in this intimate setting…the bar is owned by longtime friends and collaborators and it’s gonna be a very family vibe…This just gave me a thought. I should talk to my homies about doing some kind of drink special. :)
Peace, love and compassion.
see you soon,
xSenon

A YEAR IN ART REVIEW.
Grateful for these moments, spaces, and collaborations.

Last July with the Cut Up Zine event at Sade Gallery with Ivan Bridges.

Over the summer, I was part of the PRS group show From Within Outwards.

I travelled to England and Europe being the artist in residence at the Freud Artist Residency, working out of studios in London and in Příbor, a small town in the Czech Republic. During that time, I developed a body of work that will be featured in upcoming exhibitions at the Freud Museum in Vienna and in London as well as a show in Příbor .

In November, I continued as a Philosophical Research Society contributing artist having the Scrapyard book release event at PRS, published by Hat&Beard Press.

Around the same time, I was also included in the group show Against a Clear Blue Sky for the launch of Unibrow Magazine.

In December had a wonderful book release event for Scrapyard at Arcana Books on the Arts

This year began with the Tilt Horizon film release screening in February, where my collaborator Tabbert Fiiller and I curated an evening of short films.

In March had another Tilt Horizon screening at Firehouse JT, where I performed a solo music and poetry set before the film.

In April, we held another Scrapyard book event at Lore Bookstore in Leimert Park, where I did a poetry reading with musical accompaniment by David Ralicke and Joel Virgel.

Most recently, I’ve been part of the group show Dark Shadows at CMay Gallery LA.

Looking ahead, I have upcoming solo exhibitions at the Freud Museum in London and Vienna, as well as a solo show at the Jane McAdam Freud Gallery in Příbor.

Through it all, music has remained a constant thread. I’ve continued performing with Dengue Fever and Acetone, currently recording new material with Dengue Fever, with singles planned for release this year and next, while Acetone is working on a full-length LP of new songs.
I am also dedicating more time to a solo thing based on poetry and minimal music.

Keep the good fight going against prejudice, injustice and class disparity. We are all struggling…with that, I will keep keeping on..with my art, shine a light on love, unveil the hate and stay sane.

Opening This Saturday at 3pm!

CMAY Gallery is pleased to present
Dark Shadows

A group exhibition exploring the darker, more surreal dimensions of narrative painting.

Featuring works by Senon Williams, Francesca Bifulco, Gegam Kacherian, John Geary, and Sara Ajami,

the exhibition draws on themes of mythology, memory, and transformation. Across painting and mixed media, familiar forms dissolve into dreamlike landscapes, and narratives unfold in ways that are both atmospheric and unsettling.

Together, these artists construct a space where darkness becomes generative, shaped by imagination, perception, and the unknown.

Opening Reception
April 18, 2026 | 3-6 PM
5828 Wilshire Blvd

On view April 18 - May 30, 2026

Thanks to all who came out last night @loreleimertpark for the first of a new quarterly series of jazz & poetry. To kick things off @ralicke & @virgelviersetjoel set the mood with some lead-in tunes. It was a standing-room-only crowd. 🙌 Then Pulitzer-finalist #willalexander read from several of his last few book collections… his wordplay was mesmerizing. He was followed by painter, musician, poet and good friend of H&B family @senonwill who took the stage and read with musical accompaniment his minimalist verse. 🎼🎤 Mr Williams recently released Scrapyard, a book that illustrates his process of scrapbooking ideas for making paintings & poems. You can find it at the H&B and independent bookshops locally & nationally. Special thanks to Grace Warren at Lore for helping create this series with us. ✌️❤️📚

SPOTLIGHT on WILL ALEXANDER reading this Friday April 3, 6-8pm.

Will Alexander is an American poet, novelist, essayist, playwright, and visual artist.
Alexander’s poetry and visual art are greatly influenced by his readings of Bob Kaufman, Octavio Paz, and Francophone Negritude writers such as Aimé Césaire and Jean-Joseph Rabéarivelo. Alexander describes the effect of their themes of cosmic isolation from society and interior discovery as an “alchemical metamorphosis”. Much of his work is characterized by his powerful mixing of metaphor and sophisticated language. According to the Poetry Foundation, his work is frequently described as surreal.
