2026 She Dares to Rise Conference was such a meaningful and uplifting gathering of community who supports women empowerment to lift women up. We intentionally chose this meaningful date on International Women's Day to celebrate courageous women who have dared to break barriers to be their truest selves.

I was so thankful for the incredible support of the community who came together because of the vision and value we share, regardless of the superficial differences based on gender, culture, skin color, language etc.

So grateful for our incredible speakers to share their real and raw personal journey of breaking barriers, and honest conversations about the journey.

We could see a piece of us in every story we heard from our incredible speakers of diverse backgrounds, reminding us that we are more similar than we are different. In a time we feel so divided, sharing this intentionally curated space with like-hearted individuals reminds us that together, we form a supportive ecosystem that lifts everyone up, builds a community where everyone who shows up feel seen and and heard.

Happy GivingTuesday!

As ever, there are too many worthy causes to contribute to this GivingTuesday. The Kumari Project is dedicated to launching our Kumari Kids into the world with the skills and opportunities to support themselves. We just need YOUR HELP for a little longer.

**Remember employers also might match your donations! Give on the website to get a tax receipt from us: www.thekumariproject.org/donate or click the link in bio for contributing to my FB fundraiser!**

As our kiddos work towards achieving independence and supporting themselves (and some family too), I’m most proud of the challenges the Kumari Kiddos have faced and how much they have grown as a result this past year.
A few of their collective highlights include:
- Traveling for the first time out of the country to a 6 month hospitality internship at a five star resort
- Making their first sutures on a patient
- Weighing two job offers and figuring out how to balance work conditions, learning, and pay to make the best decision
- Finding a job, leaving it because the employer never paid them, and then finding a better job within a month!
- Signing up for extracurricular classes in web design and photography
- Traveling throughout Nepal on school trips and academic field visits
- Getting accepted to train at the Nepal National Football Academy
