Sepak bola memang butuh uang, tapi buat mereka itu bukan segalanya. Saat keadaan lagi sulit, mereka tidak mencari siapa yang datang dari luar, tapi saling menguatkan di dalam. Karena yang menjaga tim ini tetap hidup bukan soal besar kecilnya dana, tapi tentang orang-orang yang tetap peduli dan bertahan bersama.

Collective Joy jadi cara mereka melangkah. Saling bantu, saling jaga, dan tumbuh bersama. Mungkin sederhana, tapi penuh makna. Selama kebersamaan itu masih ada, tim ini akan terus hidup.

Ils collectent des fonds pour les grévistes ou pour les enfants malade du cancer. Certains se sont aussi mobilisés pour aider les victimes lors des dernières inondations à Sumatra.

La révolte populaire de l’été 2025 contre le durcissement des conditions de vie a mis en lumière l’engagement de ces clubs. Ils se posent, pour la plupart, comme des espaces de résistance face au régime et à la fédération indonésienne de football (PSSI). Dans le football indonésien, comme en Europe, les outrances commerciales et sécuritaires du football moderne ont engendré la naissance d’une opposition. Modeste mais déterminée, cette dynamique connaît un vrai essor depuis le début des années 2020.

They go by names such as FC Rainfall, Riverside Forest, Port City Wanderers, Tribun Kultur FC, Stonegate Rovers, and Kalibrug FC. They openly show their support for social, environmental, and feminist struggles, raising funds for striking workers and for children battling cancer. Some have also mobilized to assist victims of the recent floods in Sumatra.

The popular uprising of summer 2025 against the worsening living conditions has brought these clubs’ commitment into the spotlight. Most of them present themselves as spaces of resistance to the regime and to the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI). In Indonesian football, as in Europe, the excesses of commercialisation and security-driven policies in the modern game have given rise to opposition. Though modest, this movement is determined and has been steadily growing since the early 2020s.
