What drives the next generation of art collectors?
Meet @jbfals and @ritarprates, whose approach to collecting is personal, instinctive, and deeply connected to community. For them, relationships with artists and the stories surrounding a work hold as much value as the works themselves.
Published as part of a new series for #CHARTJournal, we explore how the next generation of collectors is reshaping the art market through intuition, access, relationships, and lived experience - from their first encounters with art to the values that shape what, how, and why they collect today. Even though my journey with Form Portfolios has come to an end, I’m incredibly proud to share this project, just launched at Salone: Nanimarquina x Lucia Eames.
When we first received Lucia Eames’ extensive portfolio back in 2020, we didn’t quite know where to begin. Seeing this collection come to life six years later is a reminder that persistence really is key.
Grateful to have been part of this journey during my time at Form Portfolios, contributing across research, pitching, and developing patterns from Lucia’s archive alongside a truly dedicated team.
A big congratulations to all my former colleagues at @form_portfolios on bringing this to life.
Working with the Eames legacy was something not everyone has a chance to and for that I am grateful.

Starting my third week as a Graphic Designer at Georg Jensen. Grateful to be part of such a well established Danish brand and reminded that some dreams really do come true. Looking forward to this next chapter and to everything it will bring.
