absolute dream come true getting to participate in The Jim Henson Company Puppetry Bootcamp (@hensoncompany ). I learned so much from @lighthanded & @allantrautman and it was so awesome to see how much everyone improved.

Step into history at Walt Disney’s own Hollywood Hills storybook mansion for a one-night-only event inspired by Disney’s haunting classic, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

As twilight descends over Los Angeles, guests will gather on the back patio for a welcome toast and sweeping views of the city below—where tales of the Disney family and the home’s storied past set the stage for an unforgettable evening.

Inside the mansion’s grand living room—once host to Hollywood’s elite—experience The Cabaret of the Headless Horseman, a spirited performance featuring duo from the The All-Nighters: Ben Bromfield (keys) and Libby Ward (drums). Known for bringing vintage energy to LA’s finest speakeasies (including a decade of Sunday nights at The Varnish), they’ll be joined by puppeteer and vocalist Ricky Chavez, who brings his head in hand and his heart on his sleeve for a set of soulful and spooky tunes that bridge cabaret, vaudeville, and Halloween mischief.

Guests will then be seated in Walt Disney’s private screening room, where they’ll journey through the early days of Disney animation, including the creation of The Headless Horseman—a story Walt once worked on in this very room. The evening concludes with a special surprise from the mansion’s current owner, a celebrated horror filmmaker, who will premiere a chilling clip from an upcoming project inspired by the house itself.
