My cocktail submission for A League of Their Own cocktail competition sponsored by @libationslc & @shdistillery !! I am excited to be in company with so many incredible women in the industry in Salt Lake - I think we bring the best of the best 💫

My goal with this cocktail was to highlight the amazing spirits we got to play with & my current savory martini fixation.
Iwanted to be as low-waste as possible so I opted to create a spirit forward drink with minimal fresh ingredients. The produce I did use was pickled fruit kept whole (strawb greens are delish yall !), the brine was used in the cocktail, and lime leaf was used in the brine & in the olive oil on top. A pickled strawberry is served with the drink & is the perfect zippy lil snack in between sips.

It’s kind of like if a martini tasted like the early summer earth. I hope you like it! xoxoxo

Made with @ransomspirits Gin & Genepi, carrot juice, celery saccharum, citrus, toasted almond & celery bitters.

I named this cocktail after the film, one of the pieces of feminist media that had a strong influence on me as a teen. I was inspired by the film’s quirky aesthetic as well as its color schemes, and ended up creating a cocktail to match Juno’s unapologetic wielding of her gallon of Sunny D.

Juno will be available at Melancholy through April.
