She made an amazing cocktail with ingredients straight from our local @caputosmarket shelves: Daphnis and Chloe Bay Leaf, Les Moulins Mahjoub Natural Preserved Lemons, Agrumato Olive Oil Lemon, and Ekone Oyster Co. Lemon Pepper Smoked Oysters. She paired it with the most adorable sardine shaped jello shooters 🐟

Mountain Mama is inspired by Junko Tabei, the first woman to summit Mount Everest, and women everywhere making their way in male dominated spaces.

Junko faced harsh criticisms from the public saying women “should be raising children instead”. Just days before she was meant to summit, she was caught in an avalanche that caused severe injuries. Despite it all, she did the damn thing.

Junko climbed with an all women team, which inspired us to make this cocktail a collaboration with all the ladies behind the bar at The Yeti. When women work together, we do amazing things!

Mountain Mama will stay on our menu for a little while longer, so come try it for yourself this weekend!

A sweet, after dinner treat to top you off for a night at Drunken Kitchen! We’d like to thank @libationslc for letting the women in our crew participate in this year’s League of Their Own Cocktail Competition!

This cocktail features a mango puree, coconut milk, SH Distillery Gold Rum, house Five Spice simple syrup, Dashfire Chinese inspired bitters. With a toasted coconut, black sesame rim, and a candied ginger garnish!

Paraje Altamira, with its high altitude (4,000 feet) and cool microclimate, has become synonymous with world-class Argentine wine. The soils of Paraje Altamira are very diverse, with patches of sandy, rocky, silty, and limestone soils dispersed throughout the vineyard. At the moment of harvest, each soil profile imparts distinct aromatic and flavor profiles to the fruit – floral notes in the sandy patches, stony minerality in the rocky areas, dark fruits in the silty soils, and complexity from the limestone patches. The combination of these profiles lends excellent complexity to the final wine. From co-winemakers and co-owners Alejandro “Colo” Sejanovich and Jeff Mausbach (Mil Suelos), who like to call the Zaha and Teho terroir “refrigerated sunshine.”
