With £12.5K in prizes, expert judges, and a live People’s Choice award, it’s the perfect finale where brilliant ideas get the spotlight and the support they deserve.

Join us for the Milton Keynes Tech Forum, an informal open meeting to bring together community leaders, event organisers and supporters who have an interest in contributing to the Milton Keynes Tech Ecosystem.

The event will be held at MK:U Innovation Hub on Wed 29th January 12pm-1pm and will be followed by a light lunch and networking from 1pm to 2pm.

The purpose of this forum is to share upcoming events, initiatives, activities and news to cultivate collaboration between leaders, organisers and stakeholders. It also acts as a place to raise and discuss challenges and opportunities within the ecosystem.

We encourage representatives from all Milton Keynes community groups and organisations to join this event as an opportunity to share diverse perspectives of the tech ecosystem in Milton Keynes.

Just over two weeks ago, we held the Protospace Digital Hub Hack Day, a truly collaborative workshop with the tech community in Milton Keynes, facilitated by the wonderful @dr_chloe_sharp and mikegoodbye of Signal & Story.

The Protospace Digital Hub provides a "shopfront" and map to explore the tech ecosystem in Milton Keynes. Drawing together events, communities, resources, and opportunities across the city, the Digital Hub provides a notional home and point of connection for those working in, or curious about, technology and innovation in MK. Product management frameworks and tools were used to shape a day of community collaboration around three challenges, framing the problem and generating ideas for solutions. We had some incredible ideas and discussions throughout the day, and the results will be shared publicly very soon.

Join us for the Milton Keynes Tech Forum, an informal open meeting to bring together community leaders, event organisers and supporters who have an interest in contributing to the Milton Keynes Tech Ecosystem.

The purpose of this forum is to communicate upcoming events, initiatives, activities and news to cultivate collaboration between community leaders and organisers. It also acts as a place to raise and discuss challenges and opportunities within the ecosystem.

The event will feature a 15 minute spotlight, followed by 2x5 minute spotlights and 5x1 minute pitches. This will be followed by an open floor for discussion and questions.

Please email hello@protospace.uk to request a slot with some information of what you would like to share and your preferred time requirement: 15 Minute Spotlight, 5 Minute Spotlight or a 1 Minute Lightning Pitch.

Future Meetings

Future meetings will be held 6 times a year on a bi-monthly basis, chaired by protospace.
