As the sun dipped below the horizon yesterday, so did the sperm whale “Papaya.” For these two things to line up perfectly is simply serendipitous.

If I hadn’t seen this with my own eyes, I would think it’s photoshopped! Two extremely rare things for Newport Beach - rainbows and orcas - lined up perfectly yesterday aboard @newportcoastaladventure. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, nature continues to surprise you! 🌈🖤🤍

The fog that rolled in to the beach yesterday didn’t dampen the mood of this playful gray whale! We don’t often get to see this type of whale jump, if the excited reaction of our crew didn’t already tell you. Sightings of these amazing whales continues… as well as occasional viewings of fin and humpback whales too!

Anyone who knows me knows this girl is the center of my universe. Today my Bindi girl had a big operation to remove multiple cancerous masses, including her entire right ear. The vet said everything went according to plan but she has a lot of healing ahead of her. Any love and good energy sent her way is so appreciated 💛

Two iconic flukes on today’s @pacificoffshore 8 hour trip! Within 15 min of leaving the harbor I spotted the unmistakeable 6 foot tall dorsal fin of a male killer whale only a mile ahead! The CA51s (the friendly pod) lived up to their name and gave us quite a show! We then spent time with 20+ humpback whales against the incredible backdrop of the Santa Barbara channel. It was truly one of the best days I’ve ever had on the water!
