we wanted to show face and share a little bit about ourselves since everything you see here is created by us 💃🏽🕺🏽

✨ Zach is a Capricorn Sun, Scorpio Moon
✨ Zoila is an Aquarius Sun, Scorpio Moon 🫠
✨ We have been together for 16 years, married for 9!
✨ Piú Mas the name is inspired by our cultural background. Piú is the Italian word for More (Zach is Italian) & Mas is the Spanish word for Plus (Zoila is Panamanian)

✨ Zach does all the branding and visuals, Zoila manages marketing, stockists, big ideas and building community
✨ We have two kids: Dakota, 5 3/4 (he would be very upset if we left out the 3/4 🫣) & Stazie, 8 months
✨ We’re both native New Yorkers
✨ We lived in SoCal for 8 years before returning to the motherland of New York December 2022
✨ We work together at @word.agency which Zoila founded in 2017
✨ We were both athletes as kids: Zoila was a dancer and figure skater, Zach was a snowboarder & skater
✨ We plan to retire in Paris one day 🫂
✨ We watched Arrested Development together the first night we met 🤪
✨ We both LOVE to rest but since having baby #2, there hasn’t been that much 😵‍💫 we’re working on it!

Yesterday we lost revolutionary poet, educator and activist, Nikki Giovanni. Born in 1943 in Knoxville, Tennessee, Nikki’s fearless analysis of the American cultural landscape and encouragement of Black Women to be unapologetic in their pursuit of life, is a gift bestowed upon this world that will reverberate for centuries. In every woman pursuing her joys, we see Nikki. In every woman giving the middle finger to obstacles both human and not, we see Nikki. In a sense, @piu.mas may not exist without Nikki because she is a part of a legion of Black Women who have stewarded us towards our dreams regardless of what the world suggest we ought to be.
